I am bring A small group of teenage athletes, coaches and parents to Tarragona on April 11th 2006 for one week. We are using this trip as a warm weather training session.

Would it be possible for us to use your facilities and how much would this cost.

Can you recommend any budget hotels within a reasonable distance of the track.

I'm sorry I don't have any Spanish.

I'll write again when I can masnage to get this message translated.

We are from Wicklow on the east coast of Ireland about 30 miles south of Dublin.

We are very much looking forward to this trip. We have not made a trip like this before.

Hello!

First of all thank you for writing us! I have to notice that the track were we train do not belong to us and is the city council who put the price for hiring the track, so the best way is to contact to this address pme.tgna@altanet.org and ask for a price for one week.

The track is in a district near the City and have very good connections with bus, line 6, bus that you can take in several places in Tarragona, so, i don't know about any cheap hotels but i think you can ask too at the other address.

A veure algo aixíó

Jo portare un grup d'atletes adolescents, entrenadors i pares a tarragona el 11 d'abril durant una setmana, aprofitarem el viatge com a una sessio d'entrenament en un temps caloros (o algo aixi ve a dir)

Seria possible que poguessim utilitzar les vostres instalacions i quant ens costaria?

Ens pots recomanar algun hotel economic que estigui aprop del es pistes

o sento no se castellà

tornare a escriure quan quan pugui tenir el correu traduit

ells son de Wicklow, a la costa est irlandesa a unes 30 milles al sud de dublin

frisem per venir perque mai abans hem fet un viatge així

i la meva resposta més o menys va ser
les nostres pistes pertanyen a l'ajuntament i son ells qui possen el preu per utilitzar-les, o sigui que els hi vaig donar el correu del patronat, jo no sabia d'hotels barats però els hi vaig dir que no es preucupessin que per anar a les pistes hi ha busos, despres els vaig enviar un altre correu amb la web del patronat d turisme per a que s'informessin alla d'hotels

Jajaj els irlandesos m'han passat un mail i diu, algo aixi com
tinc un mapa de tarragona que he trobat per internet, sembla que la pista esta a un carrer anomenat Passeig Torroja (alli hi ha el sant pau!)
i han agafat hotel alla al costat de joan XXIII plaça les corts catalanes


els he explicat una mica com anar fins a buscar el bus si no tenen transport, que ho suposo jejeje i a quina parada baixar

I have found a map of Tarragona on the internet. It looks like the athletic track is on the street Passeig de Torroja. Is this correct.

I have also provisionally booked a hotel - the Hotel SB Express, which is by far the cheapest. Its not as central as I would like. Its on the street Plaza Corts Catalanes. Would this be approx. 1500m from the track ana approx. 2000m from the beach.

Creo que con el hotel han acertado. Pues allí hay un hotel, me parece que se llama A.C. Hotel, que está muy bien y es barato. Luego, el Sant Jordi (al lado de la playa Savinosa) está perfecto.

En cuanto llegar a las pistas, si van con coche desde el hotel bien fàcil.
